Description
The EV1500LC series mechanical seals are cartridge-type seals, robust and designed for pulp and abrasive mud applications. Its structure is modular and can offer the option of Quench, for applications where product polymerization may occur. The seals in this line do not use conventional spring systems as a compensation element. A conical spring isolated from the process performs this function and eliminates the risk of axial seal clogging. The sealing faces are made of tungsten carbide or silicon carbide, extremely hard and resistant materials. In the metal parts in contact with the process, stainless steel or high chromium iron alloys are used, which provide the parts with abrasion resistance and chemical resistance.

Application
It covers plants for the extraction and processing of Bauxite, Phosphoric Acid, Fertilizers, Paper and Cellulose, Calcium Carbonate, Coal, Cement, in addition to mining Zinc, Lead, Copper, Nickel, Iron and precious metals.
